Yemeni Army Conducts New Attacks Against Israel And The US, British Ships
On February 22, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the spokesman of the Yemeni Armed Forces, announced that the Yemeni army had carried out three missile and drone operations against the positions of Israel and the American coalition.
According to the Yemeni Armed Forces, the Yemeni Missile and Air Force fired a number of ballistic missiles and drones at various targets in the area of Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat) in the south of occupied Palestine.
In another attack, the Yemeni Navy attacked a British ship ‘ISLANDER’ in the Gulf of Aden with a number of anti-ship missiles. The Yemeni missiles reportedly hit the ship and set it on fire. ISLANDER is a general cargo ship sailing under Palau flag since 1996. This ship was traveling from a port in Thailand to the port of Al-Adabiya in Egypt.
The third attack was against an American warship in the Red Sea.
Brigadier General Saree emphasized that the Yemeni Armed Forces will continue to fulfill their religious, moral and humanitarian duties towards the Palestinian nation and defend dear Yemen against the American-British aggression; And the military operations will continue until the aggression and siege against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip is stopped.
