Yemen’s Ansar Allah Test-Fires Hypersonic Missile!
Russian media outlet RIA Novosti quoted a source close to the Ansar Allah movement as saying that the missile force of the Yemeni movement has test-fired a hypersonic missile with high lethality and is preparing to introduce such missiles into its military arsenal.
According to this report, the hypersonic missile has a speed equivalent to 8 Mach and operates on solid fuel. Additionally, the Yemeni Armed Forces intend to use this missile for their operations in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea, as well as against the Israeli regime’s positions in occupied Palestine.
It is worth mentioning that the Yemeni army unveiled a missile named Hatem-1 in the September 21, 2022 parade, which was similar to the Iranian ballistic missile named Kheibar Shekan. It is likely that the missile newly test-fired by the Ansar Allah movement, which was mentioned in the RIA Novosti report, is related to the Hatem-1 missile.

The Ansar Allah movement has not yet released detailed information on the specifications of the Hatem-1 missile, but based on the specifications of the Kheibar Shekan missile, it can be said that this missile is capable of performing complex and rapid maneuvers, enabling more effective penetration of air defense systems such as the David’s Sling and Patriot missile defense systems.
The use of this missile against the Israeli reigme’s positions in occupied Palestine is probable, but its deployment in maritime operations is unexpected.
