Over 4500 Ships Pass Through Red Sea In Recent 3 Months
The Ministry of Transport of the Yemeni Salvation Government announced that during the past three months, except for Israeli, US, and UK illicit ships, more than 4500 commercial ships have passed through the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea.
The Yemeni Salvation Government emphasized Sanaa’s interest in maritime security in the Arabian Sea and the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandab Strait, and the Indian Ocean to the Strait of Hormuz.
It was stated that the passage of all commercial ships except Israeli, US, and UK ships is permissible. The Yemeni government also requested foreign ships to cooperate with the Yemeni Armed Forces to maintain international maritime security and keep their Global Positioning System (GPS) active.
Yemeni Armed Forces have carried out 54 missile and drone operations against Israeli, US, and UK ships in support of the people and resistance of Palestine and to stop the war in the Gaza Strip from October 19, 2023 until now. The turning point of these military actions was reported the seizure of the Israeli ship Galaxy Leader on November 19 and a missile attack on the MADO fuel tanker on March 17 was the latest action by the Yemeni army.
