Israeli Forces Conduct Massive Raid On West Bank

The Tel Aviv regime’s army launched a military attack on some regions of the West Bank on the early morning of August 28.

It is said that this operation is the most widespread attack by the Israeli regime army on the West Bank since Operation Thur al-Waqi (defensive shield) in 2002, and that the regime’s armed forces, including Shin Bet, border guards and air force are involved in today’s assault.

The Israeli regime’s military activities are mainly focused on the cities of Jenin, Tubas, and Tulkarm in the West Bank. All through the Israeli assault on the mentioned cities, Palestinian resistance fighters confronted the occupying regime’s forces and blew up several roadside bombs on the way to the Israeli military convoys.

In the course of recent hours, Israeli army UAVs also pounded two vehicles in the Al- Far’a refugee camp and the Sir Road in the south of Jenin city. So far, the martyrdom of 11 Palestinians (6 in Jenin and 5 in Tubas) has been confirmed in Wednesday assaults by the regime’s military in the occupied West Bank. The Israeli occupying forces have encircled the hospitals in Jenin, Tubas, and Tulkarm and refuse to allow the wounded Palestinians to receive medical aid.

The Hebrew-language newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that the military operation of the Israeli regime’s armed forces in the north of the West Bank, particularly in the region where executor of the recent martyrdom-seeking operation in Tel Aviv came from, will continue for more than a few days.

In this respect, the Israeli regime’s Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz declared: The Israeli army is now taking intensive action in the Jenin and Tulkarm camps in order to thwart the Islamic-Iranian terrorist infrastructure that has been set up in those areas. The regime of Islamic Republic of Iran, following the example of Gaza and Lebanon, and by financing and arming terrorists and smuggling advanced weapons from Jordan, plans to create an eastern terrorist front against Israel in the West Bank. This is a war in every sense of the word, and we must win it.”

It seems that after the genocidal onslaught on the Gaza Strip and after the Zionists are sure of the destruction of the besieged area, they intend to re-implement this devastating model in the occupied West Bank, even though with a slight alteration. This is a significant alarm for the Axis of Resistance when it comes to the Israeli regime’s atrocities.
