Israeli Regime Strikes Syria’s Latakia
Early on October 17, the Zionist regime warplanes attacked targets in the outskirts of Latakia.
A Syrian military source confirmed “At around 02:50 (local time) on Thursday, the Israeli regime targeted a point in the southeast of Latakia from the Mediterranean Sea. This attack resulted in the wounding of two civilians and material damage.”
It is worth mentioning that the fighters of the Zionist regime attacked targets in the provinces of Homs and Hama in the morning of October 10. There were no casualties in these attacks.
In recent years, the Israeli army has frequently launched missile and air strikes targeting the positions of the resistance and the Syrian army. The start of the Al-Aqsa storm operation and Syria’s significant support for the resistance axis have led to an increase in Israeli air strikes on various areas of Syria, particularly Damascus and Homs.
In the past year, Israel has conducted numerous attacks with the goal of assassinating senior commanders of the resistance, as well as destroying support centers and ammunition depots. These attacks have resulted in the deaths and injuries of hundreds of resistance forces and even Syrian civilians at the hands of the Israeli regime.
