Israel Occupied New Territories In Syrian Soil
On the first day of Israeli ground operation on Syrian soil, the Israeli army positioned its forces at a Syrian army border post in the Hadar area and the strategic heights of Hermon (Jabal al-Sheikh). They also deployed tanks in the uninhabited city of Quneitra, the town of al-Baath, Hamidiyah, and al-Rawidi. These tanks have advanced to the outskirts of Khan Arnabah but have yet to seize control of the city.
With the Israeli army’s warning for southern Syria residents to evacuate immediately, it is anticipated that the areas of Ufaniyah, Hamidiyah, Samdaniyah al-Gharbiyah, and al-Qahtaniyah will likely come under Zionist control in the coming hours.
In conjunction with these operations, Israeli fighter jets have conducted over 100 airstrikes targeting Syrian army military installations and weapons depots.
