Bloomberg has reported that on May 27, an Iranian ballistic missile of the Fateh-110 type struck Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait. According to information obtained, this attack resulted in the injury of at least five U.S. military personnel and contractors.
The report claims that Kuwait’s air defense system successfully intercepted the missile, but debris from the explosion landed on military installations and caused damage. The most significant damage was serious harm to two MQ-9 drones. Each of these drones is estimated to be worth approximately $30 million.
