Latest from Moscow summit, Ghazni, Balkh and Sare Pol.

1. Ghazni:
– General Admiral a NATO commander visited Ghazni on Saturday to observe security situation operation preparation in Ghazni . He promised a full support by NATO for Government Forces in the province when meeting with the Governor.
Ghazni Governor: Enough soldiers were enlisted and trained for Ghazni cities. Preparations are done for the operation to reclaim towns Khaja Omari, Andar and Darah Qiyaq Jaghto.
Chaman Shah Etemadi, Member of Parliament: It is necessary to reclaim Jaghto and reactivate Police and Administration Departments, since anti-government (Taliban) by occupying Jaghto, controlling routes of Nahur, Malestan, Ajrestan, Jaghuri and Daykandi provinces.
– Taliban attacking Qala Naw Khaja Roshanaei area in Ghazni was defeated by security forces.

 

2. Sare Pol:
Due to Taliban attack to police station in Gurkab area, Suzma Qala city six army soldiers were martyred and seven others wounded.

 

3. Moscow Summit:
– Taliban office in Qatar reported that a convoy from Taliban will participate in the Moscow Summit about political future of Afghanistan.
People from other parties such as Hamid Karzai, Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, Atta Muhammad Nur, Muhammad Mohaqiq, Ismail Khan and etc. will participate, too. The Summit starts from February 5.

 

4. Balkh:
Due to Walid 34 operation in Balkh, 51 Taliban members were killed and 15 wounded so far.
The operation was started three weeks ago to clear Balkh, Chamtal, Char Bolouk and securing the roads and still continues.
