ISWNews Analysis Group: Unknown militants killed Ayyub Khan Niyazi, a Jihadi veteran commander of Soviet era.
1. Samangan:
– Due to vehicle explosion and attack of four Taliban militants to Afghanistan security council HQ in Ab Yek, 11 people killed and 63 injured. Two of the attackers killed.
– Zabihullah Mujahid, Taliban spokesperson, taking the responsibility reported of 70 killed and injured in a statement. The images show this attack.
2. Peace talks:
– Afghanistan government released 180 of Taliban prisoners.
So far 4,199 Taliban prisoners released so far, government said.
– Taliban released 25 of government prisoners in Qandahar.
3. Afghanistan defense ministry said more than 20 Taliban militants killed in conflicts of provinces Logar, Zabul and Balkh.
4. Qanduz:
Due to Taliban attack to security forces stations in Imam Sahib and Chahar Darre district, 10 killed and 15 injured.
5. Badakhshan:
Due to Taliban attack to security forces station in Dashte Ping village, Arghanj Khah district, seven killed and two injured.
6. Parwan:
Due to Taliban attack to security forces station in Shinwari district, four forces and four Taliban militants killed.
7. Ghazni:
Unknown militants martyred Ayyub Khan Niyazi, a Jihadi veteran commander of Soviet era.
