The Zionists Fails to Arrest the Commander of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Battalions
Islamic World News Analysis Group: The Israeli occupying forces on May 21 failed to arrest Ra’ed Abu Sorour, a leader of Al-Aqsa Martyrs battalions, the military wing of Fatah movement, in al-Bayader area in the eastern neighborhood of Jenin in the northern West Bank.
According to eyewitnesses, armed clashes with Israeli soldiers broke into Abu Sorour house, where homemade explosive devices were thrown at them, while soldiers fired bullets and gas.
The intensity of the clashes was reported to be such that Zionists were forced to deploy more troops to the area.
However, people close to Ra’ud Abu Sorour reported his escape from the heavy blockade of the Zionists and his safety.
According to the Zionist claims, Raed Abu Sorour and Thaer Jaradat are two of the main commanders of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Battalions, whose May 21 efforts to capturing them was unsuccessful.
It should be noted that the al-Aqsa Martyrs Battalions of the Fatah Movement, six days ago in response to the Zionist crimes in the martyrdom of 60 Palestinian citizens on the “Nakba Day” attacked a Zionist military jeep and fired at the Zionist settlement of Sderot.
