A Syrian child killed by Turkish border guards
ISWNews Analysis Group: A Syrian child was shot dead by Turkish border guards near the Syrian-Turkish border on the western outskirts of Idlib province.
Abdullah Khalid Sakif, a resident of al-Dirriya village on the outskirts of Darkush, on the western outskirts of Idlib, was killed by Turkish border guards. The child was working on a farm near the border when he was shot in the chest and attempts to rescue him were failed.
Also this summer, “Mohammad Khair Abdul Salam Al-Haj Mohammad”, a resident of al-Dirriya village, was killed by Turkish border guards while working on agricultural land.
Al-Dirriya village is located in the west of Darkush and on the border with Turkey. This village is one of the most prominent routes of human trafficking from Syria to Turkey.
According to the Center for Violations in Northern Syria, 492 civilians, including 94 children, have been killed by Turkish border guards since the start of the Syrian crisis.
