Israeli Warplanes Attack Deir Ezzor In Syria
On October 2, at least two Syrian servicemen were wounded after Israeli military fighter jets attacked targets in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor Governorate.
ISWNews Analysis Group – Syrian military sources reported that the Zionist enemy attacked targets in Deir ez-Zor Governorate with several missiles around 23:50 local time on Monday. The attack resulted in two injuries and material damage.
No further details have been released, but local sources have claimed that Israeli warplanes struck targets in Harabesh neighborhood (near Deir ez-Zor Airport), al-Hari (near the town of Abu Kamal) and the Iraqi-Syrian border crossing.
This is the first attack by Israeli warplanes on positions of the Syrian army and its allies in Deir ez-Zor Governorate in a year.
It is worth mentioning that the Syrian army’s positions in the al-Dimas area west of capital Damascus were targeted by Israeli warplanes on October 1.
