Latest Military Developments Of Gaza And Northern Palestine, 7 November 2023 (Map)
On the 32nd day of fighting, clashes between Palestinian fighters and Israeli forces continued in the north of the Gaza Strip. The Israeli army advances in the north of the Gaza Strip is very slow and the Palestinian fighters, despite the very limited resources, are hardly resisting for any piece of Gaza land.
Since the morning, Israeli forces started a intense ground attack towards the al-Shati camp. According to available information, Israeli forces crossed Salah al-Khalaf street and are now at the entrance of al-Shati neighborhood. Therefore, the ground conflicts have reached Al-Shati.
In the west and north of Beit Lahia, the fighting continues in Atatra, al-Salatin, and around Al-Tawam, and near Sheikh Radwan neighborhood. It is said that in today’s battles, at least seven Israeli military and armored vehicles were destroyed by Palestinian fighters.
In the south of Gaza City, the clashes continue near Tal al-Hawa and Sheikh al-Ajlin. According to the field information, Israeli regime forces advanced along the coastline and Al-Rashid Street and entered Sheikh al-Ajlin neighborhood.
It seems that the Israeli army plans to blockade Gaza from the west and the coast of Gaza by using the coastline and the full naval support it has along the coast. What is clear is that the Israelis have learned from the past war and defeat in Al-Shujaiya, and this time they have operated and advanced with more caution and with a different tactic. Choosing the coastal lines to advance significantly reduces the maneuverability of the Palestinian fighters to repel the attacks of the Israeli regime.
No progress has been made in the southern axis of the Gaza Strip and the surrounding areas of Khan Yunis.
The heavy bombing of different areas of the Gaza Strip continues. The Ministry of Health of Palestine announced that the number of martyrs in Gaza has increased to more than 10,328 and the number of injured has reached more than 25,956. In the West Bank, at least 163 Palestinians were martyred and more than 2,100 others were injured.
On the northern front, artillery and rocket attacks between Hezbollah and Israel continue, and no specific changes have been made in the front lines. Today, resistance forces targeted Israeli positions and artillery in the Golan Heights with rocket attacks. As a result of these attacks, the Israeli regime’s artillery caught fire in the Golan. During the past few hours, the Zionist army targeted the areas of Yarin, Bostane and Labunah in southern Lebanon with artillery attacks. Also, two Iron Dome missiles fell near Bent Jubeil and Maroun al-Ras. In response to these attacks, Hezbollah attacked Shomera village and Birka Risha outpost in the north of occupied Palestine with ATGM missiles.
