Latest Military Developments Of Gaza And Northern Palestine, 8 November 2023 (Map)

On the 33rd day of fighting in Palestine, heavy clashes continued between Palestinian fighters and Israeli army forces in the north of the Gaza Strip. The advances of the Israeli regime army in the north of the Gaza Strip have stopped, and the field map of the battles in Gaza City has not changed. As mentioned earlier, with the entry of the Israeli army into Gaza City, the main battles between the Palestinian fighters and the occupying forces will begin, and the speed of the Israeli advance will surely decrease.

The Palestinian fighters, by using the urban warfare tactics and the element of surprise, have pinned down the Israeli soldiers in the streets of Gaza City, and the ground advance of the Israeli regime in Gaza has become difficult and costly despite extensive air and artillery support. Since this morning, Palestinian fighters have targeted and destroyed or disabled at least 16 military equipment of the Zionist regime, including tanks, personnel carriers and armored vehicles, with Al-Yasin 105 anti-armor and thermobaric rockets.

Clashes continue in the north of Gaza City, inside Beit Hanoun area, north and northwest of Beit Lahia, Al-Salatin, Atatrah, Al-Tawam, Al-Karamah neighborhoods and near Sheikh Radwan neighborhood and at the entrance of Al-Shati neighborhood. All the attacks of the Israeli regime on Wednesday have been repelled in these axes.

In the south of Gaza City, clashes continue in the areas of Al-Zaitun and near Tal Al-Hawa and the entrance of Sheikh Al-Ajlin. The front lines in this axis have not changed compared to the previous day.

In the south of the Gaza Strip and the fronts of Khan Yunis, no significant clashes has been observed.

The heavy bombing of different areas of the Gaza Strip continues. The Ministry of Health of Palestine announced that the number of martyrs in Gaza has increased to more than 10,328 and the number of injured has reached more than 26,000.

On the northern front, artillery and missile attacks continue between Hezbollah and Israel, and no specific changes have been made in the front lines.

The Israeli army artillery started its attacks on the southern regions of Lebanon from noon today, and the areas of Labuneh, Halta, Al-Amari, Ayta al-Shaab, Meis al-Jabal, Houla, Blida, Mhaibib, Yaron, Alama al-Shaab and Al-Krum Al-Zararieh in the suburbs of Al-Wozani, and Al-Khiam were targeted by artillery shells. The towns of Yatar, Yarin, Al-Jebin and Al-Habariyah were also attacked by Israeli fighter jets.

In response to these attacks, Hezbollah attacked the gathering of Israeli forces near the settlement of Shomera, the Israeli military site near Dovev, Bayaz Blida area in the north of occupied Palestine. One Israeli soldier was killed and another was injured. The settlements of Avivim, Yir’oun and Bara’am in the north of occupied Palestine with four rockets.
