Downing Of US Drone In Sa’ada Sky; Missile Attack On British Ship + Video

Brigadier General Yahya Saree, Spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, said in the statement that the Yemeni Naval Forces targeted the British ship Andromeda Star in the Red Sea with several appropriate naval missiles.

Additionally, the Yemeni air defense forces targeted and destroyed a US MQ-9 drone in the sky over Sa’ada Governorate.

The destruction of the US MQ-9 drone in Sa’ada Governorate is the seventh successful operation by the Ansar Allah movement against this type of drone in recent years, with six other MQ-9 drones previously destroyed in the skies over Sana’a, Al-Hudaydah, Dhamar, Marib and the Red Sea.

Yahya Saree reiterated in the conclusion of his statement that the Yemeni Armed Forces will not refrain from conducting further military operations against the Israeli enemy and its American and British supporters in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean, in continuous support of the Palestinian people. He added that these operations will not stop unless the attacks and siege on the people of Palestine in the Gaza Strip are halted.

The US military’s terrorist Central Command in West Asia (CENTCOM) also confirmed in its latest statement that the Ansar Allah movement had fired three anti-ship ballistic missiles towards two ships in the Red Sea, one of which hit a British tanker, damaging the ship. According to the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO), this attack took place on April 26 and was 14 nautical miles west of Al-Mokha port city.

The Andromeda Star is a British tanker with a Panamanian flag that has been operating since 2009. According to maritime tracking websites, this ship has moved from the harbor of Port Said in Egypt or Port Sudan towards the Gulf of Aden and then towards its destination in Russia or India. This conflicting information suggests that this vessel was transporting cargo related to the Israeli regime or Britain and had provided false information to mislead the intelligence forces of the resistance groups.

The Yemeni Army’s missile attack on the British ship Andromeda Star is the 73rd official Yemeni operation against illegal ships (Israel, the US, Britain and their affiliated ships) in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean.
