The Islamic Resistance in Iraq, an umbrella group of anti-terror fighters, has issued a statement to announce its fighters’ attacks on the Israeli regime’s positions in occupied port cities of Eilat and Haifa.

According to the IWN, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, which has been actively involved in supporting the Palestinian cause and fighting against the Israeli occupation of Palestine, issued the statement on July 15.

The Iraqi resistance mentioned in the statement that the recent drone and missile attacks on Israeli positions in Eilat and Haifa port cities are part of the ongoing efforts by the resistance to retaliate against the onslaught faced by the Palestinian people.

The statement said: In order to help and support the people of Gaza and in response to the crimes committed by the occupying regime against Palestinian civilians, including women, children and the elderly, the fighters of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq targeted important targets in the occupied cities of Eilat and Haifa using suicide drones and Al-Arqab cruise missiles.

According to studies of the IWN, this is the 132nd attack by the Islamic Resistance in Iraq against the positions of the Israeli regime in the region after the onset of the war in Gaza.

It is worth mentioning that the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip has been escalating in recent weeks, with Israeli airstrikes causing widespread destruction and loss of civilian lives. The Iraqi resistance sees it as its duty to stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people and fight against the oppression they face on a daily basis.

The attack on Israeli positions in Eilat and Haifa is a clear message to the Israeli regime that the Iraqi resistance will not sit idly by while innocent civilians are being targeted and killed in Gaza.

On Saturday, the Israeli regime pounded al-Mawasi refugee camp, which it had designated as a safe zone, martyring at least 90 Palestinians and injuring 300 others.

The Israeli regime claimed that the target was Hamas senior military commander Mohammed Deif. Hamas rejected that, saying the martyrs were all civilians.
