ISWNews Analysis Group: 18 civilians were martyred and several others were wounded as a result of airstrikes carried out by the Saudi coalition warplanes on the village of al-Hakimah in the district of Muqbanah in Taiz province.
Last night, Saudi coalition warplanes bombed a civilian gathering in the village of al-Hakimah, in the western part of Taiz province, killing 18 people, including several children and wounding eight others.
According to local sources, the process of clearing debris and providing relief to the victims of the attack was delayed due to the continued flight of Saudi warplanes over the area, which resulted in the martyrdom of two other wounded.
The intensification of Saudi airstrikes against civilians and residential areas coincides with the operation of the Saudi coalition forces centered on Tareq Saleh in the south of al-Hudaydah province and the west of Taiz province. The Saudi coalition had previously bombed the village of al-Marir in the southern province of al-Hudaydah, killing a man and a fetus.
