Drone attack on US base in Syria
ISWNews Analysis Group: An unidentified drone targeted the US military positions at the al-Omar oil field in Deir Ezzor province with a number of missiles.
Late on October 22, positions of the US coalition in the Omar oil field were targeted by a drone attack. So far, no group has claimed responsibility for this attack, but the resistance groups are the main suspects.
No information has been released about the amount of casualties and damages of this attack.
In response to this attack, the US artillery targeted agricultural fields near the city of Al-Mayadin.
It should be noted that also on September 18th, in another attack, positions of the US coalition at the Omar oil field were targeted by several rockets.
