Second Airstrike On Syria’s Al Bukamal In The Past 24 Hours! + Video

The unknown aircraft pounded the outskirts of the Syrian border city of Al Bukamal in the past 24 hours, which is the second new round of airstrikes that left at least 12 trucks harshly damaged and a few people wounded.

Al Bukmal is a border city located in Deir ez-Zur Governorate in eastern Syria, which witnessed two airstrikes on civilian convoys by unknown aircraft (perhaps belonging to the US-led coalition) in the last 24 hours.

In the first airstrike, which was carried out Sunday evening, a convoy of six trucks was pounded by two missiles, while driving in the Hawija Baghuz-Al Bukamal road, and the airstrike severely destroyed at least four trucks. Reportedly, the convoy of trucks were transiting medical equipment and medicaments.

In the second airstrike on Al Bukamal that occurred Monday morning, a convoy of 12 trucks was pounded by unknown aircraft, which damaged the whole trucks and injured a few people. Moreover, the unknown aircraft battered targets in vicinity of the headquarters of the resistance fighters in As-Suway’ya village on the outskirts of Al Bukamal; however, the airstrike merely left physical damages.

Sources close to the Syrian militants claimed that a number of Iranian forces were killed in the airstrikes, but the sources of ISWNews Analysis Group ruled out the reports propagated on the martyrdom of numerous people because of the airstrikes by the unidentified aircraft.

In spite of the several airstrikes conducted by unidentified aircraft on different convoys in the border areas of Iraq and Syria, which happened in recent months, the Syrian officials and commanders have not yet commented on the airstrikes. Given the Syrian authorities’ silence in this regard, the Syrians are apparently not keen on escalating tensions and confrontations with the potential perpetrators of the airstrikes, therefore, the opposite sides keep on taking advantage of the response in order to continue their attacks on the Syrians.

More details on the airstrikes have not been published so far, but given the history of similar airstrikes by the US and Israeli aircraft, it should be mentioned that the Zionist regime and the United States are the ones who should be taken responsible for such attacks.
