Turkish Drone Attack On Sinjar; Two YBS Members Were Killed
ISWNews Analysis Group – On March 1, as a result of Turkish drone attack on a vehicle in the center of Sinjar town, located in the west of Nineveh province, two members of the Sinjar Resistance Units (YBS) were killed.
According to the Kurdistan Region’s Counter-Terrorism Group, one of the field commanders of the Sinjar Resistance Forces (YBS) along with his bodyguard was killed in the Turkish drone attack. Some sources have announced the name of this commander as “Shirzad Qairani”.
It is worth mentioning that on February 27, Turkish drones targeted a car in Khana Sor area in the suburbs of Sinjar, during which Pir Ceko, the commander of the 80th brigade of the Popular Mobilization Organization, was martyred along with two other people.
