Yemeni Armed Forces Conduct New Operations Against Israel; Yemen Continues Naval Warfare
In a statement, the Yemeni armed forces pointed to the details of two missile and drone operations against Israeli positions in occupied Palestinian territories and a ship-bound to this regime.
Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the spokesperson for the Yemeni armed forces, in a statement reaffirming support for the people of Palestine, said: “The Yemeni Navy targeted the commercial ship MSC United with naval strike missiles. The process of targeting this ship took place after its crew, for the third time, refrained from responding to the calls of the Yemeni navy and the warning messages.“
He also mentioned another attack on Israeli positions and added that the Yemeni Air Force attacked enemy military targets in the Al-Rashrash area (Eilat) and other areas in occupied Palestine with several drones.
Brigadier General Saree emphasized at the end of this statement that the operations of the Yemeni army will continue until food and medicine enter the Gaza Strip, and Israeli ships and those affiliated with them will be targeted, as stated in previous statements.
According to analyses made by the IWN, this operation marks the thirteenth missile and drone attack by the Yemeni army against Israeli positions in occupied Palestine. The missile attack on the MSC United ship is also the twelfth action by the Yemeni army against Israeli shipping and related companies.
