On the evening of Friday, May 17, ISIS-WA terrorists attacked the Nigerian army base in “Malam Fatori” town in Borno state located in the northeast of Nigeria, killing seven Nigerian army soldiers and injuring at least 10 others.

In this attack, ISIS terrorists destroyed three armored vehicles and four other military vehicles and disabled several other vehicles. These elements also set fire to most parts of the base before leaving.

It should be noted that in recent days, ISIS-WA elements have tried to get out of the pressure of the Nigerian army and its allies in the Brno region by carrying out a series of attacks; And it seems that they have succeeded to some extent and changed from a defensive situation to an offensive one.
