Missiles Neutralized Before Fired Toward US. Base in Iraq + Images

Media close to Iraqi security officials claimed that Iraqi forces operating as part of Island Operation during clearing up tasks found three Grad missiles on Al Doulab area heights yesterday.

They were armed and ready to fire and aimed at Ayn al-Asad Airbase, Al Anbar province, in which Americans are settled.

According to this source, the missiles were set on automatic fire and were neutralized just 15 mins before fire.

Ayn al-Asad Airbase is the second largest airbase in Iraq after Balad Airbase which is located in Al Baghdadi, Al Anbar province.
