Afghanistan in the Past Week, Summary of Important News

1. Faryab:
Reclaiming Bilchiragh town by Security Forces and People’s Immobilization after one year being occupied by Taliban. It was occupied two times in the last two years by Taliban.
2. Daykundi:
Due to Taliban’s attack to Kajran town, 13 people martyred and 16 injured. Padgak and Sang Heidar Beig watch posts were occupied by Taliban. Kajran town is a Shiite region.
3. Ghazni:
Qader Shah, chief of Khogyani Police and 2 companies were killed in a road bomb.
4. Samangan:
Due to terrorist explosion in a mosque in town Aybak, 10 people injured.
5. Qandhar:
Taliban’s occupation on Maaruf town; 4 armored vehicles destroyed and 8 killed.
6. Qunduz:
Due to Taliban’s attack to border region of Qarghan Tappa, Imam Saheb town, 15 people martyred and 15 captured. Security Forces repelled Taliban after 4 hours.
