Unveiling of the Main Culprits of the Attacks on Hashed al-Shaabi Bases in Iraq
ISWNews Analysis Group: Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, Deputy Chairman of Popular Mobilization Units in a statement blamed the United States for the recent attacks on the PMU’s bases in Iraq and stated that whatever happens from now on, its responsibility is on the United States.
Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis said that they have gathered accurate and detailed information that the US has entered 4 Israeli drones into Iraq through Azerbaijan to work as part of the US air force to carry out air missions targeting Iraqi military headquarters.
In his statement, he stressed that Hashed al-Shaabi has no choice but to defend itself and its headquarters against such US actions and it will use its current weapons and another highly advanced weapons.
Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis added that US planes instead of chasing down remaining ISIS elements recently spied on Hashed al-Shaabi headquarters and has collected information about Hashed al-Shaabi’s warehouses and ammunition depots. He said the Americans are paving the way for attacks on PMU’s headquarters by making noise and misinformation in Iraq space.
It is noteworthy that Hashed al-Shaabi holds his ammunition at Al Shuhada, Ashraf, Saqar and Balad bases. These bases have been targeted by air strikes in the past few days.
