According to Adel Abdul Mahdi’s order, the governors have the authority to declare martial law in their provinces and currently, martial law has been declared in the provinces of Basrah, Babylon, Diwaniyah, Dhi Qar, al-Qadisiyah and Wasit.

1. Al Diwaniyah:
Protesters enter the Al Diwaniyah Provincial Council building and set fire to it.

2. Hillah:
The office of the State of Law Coalition was burnt down in Hillah.

3. Kut:
Burning of Iraqi parliamentarian Kazem al-Sayyadi’s office in Kut.

4. Dhi Qar:
The building of Dhi Qar province was completely burnt down.

5. Maysan:
According to news sources, the office of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq group was also burned in Maysan province.

6. Samawah:
The office of the Fadilah party was burned in the town of Samawah.

7. Al Muthanna:

The Islamic Dawa Party office was burnt down in the province of Al Muthanna.
Burning of Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq office in Al Muthanna.
The office of Saraya al-Khorasani and the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq were burnt in the province of Al Muthanna.
Burning of the office of the High Electoral Commission in the city of Al Muthanna.
