Latest Updates on Yemen, 9 December 2020

1- Marib:
– Clashes between Ansar Allah and Saudi-led coalition forces continue in the north of Madaghal and Raghwan areas. The Saudi coalition attack on the al-Khuraybah-al-Safira area has been repelled by Ansar Allah and the lines of conflict on this front have not changed.
– Saudi coalition warplanes have bombed Raghwan and Sarwah 15 times in the past 48 hours.

2- Sanaa:
– 23 other members of Mansour Hadi’s forces surrendered and joined to Ansar Allah. In recent weeks, more than 348 members of Mansour Hadi’s forces have joined the ranks of Ansar Allah.
– Saudi coalition warplanes have bombed the Nihm area 7 times in the past 24 hours.

3- Abyan:
Six members of the UAE-backed security forces (Hizam al-Amni) were killed and two others were wounded during an attack by unidentified gunmen in the town of Lowdar.

4- Al-Hudaydah:
Saudi-led coalition forces have violated 381 times the ceasefire in the province in the past 48 hours.

5- The Saudi coalition claimed yesterday that it had shot down an Ansar Allah drone in the southern skies of Saudi Arabia.
