ISWNews Analysis Group: On March 17, the Iraqi resistance groups attacked US positions at Balad Airbase in Salah al-Din province with at least eight rockets.
Balad Air Base has a long history of being targeted by resistance rockets and drones. The base was also targeted by a drone strike by Iraqi resistance groups on January 15.
