Spain’s Barcelona Cuts Off Ties With Tel Aviv
ISWNews Analysis Group – The mayor of the Spanish city of Barcelona severed relationship with the Zionist regime’s capital city of Tel Aviv to show support for the Palestinian nation and slam the Israeli regime’s crimes.
Mayor of Barcelona Ada Colao has suspended all institutional ties with the Israeli regime, including the sisterhood accord between Barcelona and Tel Aviv until further notice, and she set condition for the restoration of the relationship, noting that the prospect is subject to observing the human rights of the Palestinian people.
The mayor of Barcelona declared in a message to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in case the situation of human rights does not change in the occupied territories of Palestine and the Israeli regime does not halt belligerence against the Palestinian nation, the relationship between the two sides will not come back to the prior routine.
Colao also underscored that international community is expected to expel and isolate the Zionist regime in a bid to force it to pay the price for its crimes.
