Lapid’s Opposition To The Formation Of Netanyahu’s Emergency Cabinet!
According to Channel 12 of the Israeli regime, Yair Lapid, the leader of the opposition, said in response to the formation of the emergency government: We will not join the emergency government. This is the mistake in the thinking of Gantz and Eizenkot. Lapid also accused Netanyahu’s government of committing an unforgivable mistake due to the attack by Hamas.
Lapid’s statement shows that, contrary to the declaration of some Hebrew-language media as well as the propaganda of pro-Netanyahu media, there is no broad political unity behind the emergency government with the participation of some opposition parties.
It was previously announced that Yair Lapid’s party responded to Netanyahu’s proposal and announced that it will not join Netanyahu’s cabinet as long as the radical parties of Otzma Yehudit, led by Itamar Ben-Gvir, and the Religious Zionist Party, led by Bezalel Smotrich, are present in Netanyahu’s cabinet.
