Latest News On Military Clashes In West Bank, 17 December 2023
As a result of the Israeli regime’s military operation in the Nur Shams camp of the city of Tulkarm, at least 5 Palestinians have been martyred.
Israeli soldiers stormed the Nur Shams camp in the city of Tulkarm, located on the West Bank, and engaged in armed clashes with Palestinian resistance fighters early this morning.
On the course of these clashes, 5 Palestinians were martyred and several others were injured.
During the armed confrontations, Israeli army drones targeted some positions in the Nur Shams camp in two separate attacks.
Israeli bulldozers also demolished streets and service buildings in the camp. Israeli soldiers got in the way of ambulances en route to assist and the transfer the wounded Palestinians.
Various areas along the West Bank, including Nablus, Urif, Tubas, Hebron (al-Khalil), and Tulkarm, have witnessed recent raids and military operations by the Israeli regime, in which several Palestinians have been martyred, injured, or detained.
The Palestinian Prisoners Society stated that at least 4,520 Palestinians have been detained by Israeli troops in the West Bank since the beginning of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm on October 7, when the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas initiated a surprise attack on Israeli settlements from the Gaza Strip.
