Fire Breaks Out At Warehouse Of Israeli-Linked Company Wildberries In Kazakhstan
In continuation to the series of fires breaking out at companies affiliated with the Israeli regime in Kazakhstan, the warehouse of the Wildberries Company in the city of Almaty, the largest city in Kazakhstan, was set on fire by unidentified individuals on May 1.
The fire broke out in one of the rented warehouses of the online retailer Wildberries Company. According to local emergency services, the incident was quickly brought under control and all the people present in the building were evacuated on time, and no one was harmed. It is reported that one person was arrested by the security forces during this incident, and the cause of the fire has been cited as human interference.
According to speculations by local sources, the arson of the Wildberries warehouse is believed to be in protest and reaction to the crimes of the Israeli regime against the innocent people of the Gaza Strip.
The Wildberries Company is the largest online retail company in Russia. The retail company was founded in 2004 by Tatyana Bakalchuk. In addition to Russia, WildBerries provides services to customers in Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and the Israeli regime.
The Wildberries Company has close ties with the Israeli regime and has been selling in the occupied territories since December 8, 2020. The European part of the Wildberries website also lists the Israeli regime as one of the locations where it operates.
The president and largest shareholder of this company (99%) is Tatyana Bakalchuk, who has deep connections with the Israeli regime. Tatyana Bakalchuk’s husband, Vladislav Bakalchuk, is also one of the founders of WildBerries Company and has strong connections with the Israeli regime.
Vladislav’s uncle, Yona Bakalchuk, lives in the city of Petah Tikva in Tel Aviv. This person has been the strategic sales manager of the international IT company Matrix Global Services for the past 20 years. His clients include the Ministry of Defense of the Israeli regime and the General Staff of the regime’s army, along with other big names.
Vladislav also has another cousin in St. Petersburg who owns three media companies with multi-million dollar incomes. The most successful of them, with an income of 400 million rubles in 2020, is the advertising agency Northern Capital, which was used by the famous Israeli man Mark Wolfson, the head of NTV-Mira Israel.
Another notable point is that one of the members of this company, with the position of cyber security analyst, named Alexander Mikhalchenko, is an Israeli who lives in the occupied territories and in Tel Aviv. The speculation is that the software support and cyber security of this company is likely based in Tel Aviv.
All these connections and relationships between this company and the Israeli regime strengthen the speculation about the targeted nature of the fire in the Wildberries warehouse. It should be noted that on January 16, 2023, one of the main warehouses of this company in the village of Shushary in St. Petersburg, Russia, also experienced a severe fire, with an area of about 70,000 square meters, and the Wildberries Company suffered about 15 billion rubles in damages in that incident.
