Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, has announced the details of three recent military operations conducted by Yemeni army.

According to the spokesman, the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out three recent military operations in the Red Sea and the Mediterranean Sea.

The first operation was carried out by the Yemeni naval, missile, and air forces, using a number of unmanned surface vehicle (USV), unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), and ballistic missiles, as the Yemeni Armed Forces targeted the Vessel Bentley-I in the Red Sea, Saree said.

Both the Bentley-I and CHIOS LION vessels were targeted for violating a ban on entering the ports of occupied Palestine, according to the Yemeni military spokesman.

The third operation was conducted by the Yemeni Armed Forces in cooperation with the Islamic Resistance in Iraq. They targeted the ship Olivia in the Mediterranean Sea, and Brigadier General Saree reported that this operation was also successfully carried out.

According to statistics gathered by the IWN, the attacks on these ships mark the 144 – 145- 146th attacks by the Yemeni Armed Forces on illegal ships (Israeli, American, British, and their affiliated ships) in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, the Indian Ocean, and the Mediterranean Sea.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have demonstrated their capabilities with these three military operations, which utilized a range of advanced weapons systems and coordination with allied forces.

The strikes appear to be part of Yemen’s efforts to enforce a ban on ships entering ports controlled by the Israeli regime.

Since last November, the Yemeni army attacked dozens of vessels affiliated with Israel or owned by the US and the UK in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, the Arabian Sea, the Indian Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea in response to the Israeli war and siege on Gaza.
