Iraqi armed forces operation in the desert

ISWNews Analysis Group: Today morning Hashad Sha’abi and Iraqi army forces under support of the airforce launched an operation to cleanse the deserts of Nineveh province from ISIS.
The operation area is in south of Hatra from Wadi al-Tharthar to Umm al-Aqarib bridge at south of Mosul.
Hatra lays on 80 km southwest of Mosul which has a key role in recent incidents in the north of Iraq.
