Germany’s red carpet for General Haftar!

ISWNews Analysis Group: Heiko Maas, German FM, met with General Haftar in Benghazi and asked him to participate in Berlin summit.
He then showing optimism regarding the Berlin summit said: Khalifa Haftar has agreed with ceasefire. He assured me to try his best for the success of Berlin summit.
Berlin summit hosted by German government with presence of Russia, Turkey, USA, Egypt, UAE, China, France, UK, Algeria, Tunisia, Qatar and European, African and Arab unions and UN will be held on Sunday 19 January.
The purpose of the summit is to find a solution for Libya civil war.
