Turkish military convoy waiting for Syria’s permission; Russia’s pressure on Moghawemat
Turkish military convoy is still in the West of Aleppo and Idlib governorates and still waiting for Syrian government permission to enter south of Aleppo and Al Eis.
A reliable Syrian source tells “Islamic World News” that Syria and Iran oppose Turkish military presence in South of Aleppo but Turks try to pressure Iran and Syria via Russia. Thus Iran and Syria on one side and Russia and Turkey on the other side..
Although Turkish convoy entering Syria and their establishment in certain points in general are part of the last de-escalation zone agreement but even from the beginning Syria was not happy with the details and the implementation way and claimed it several times officially and non officially and naturally Iran and Moghawemat’s opinions are closer to Syria.
It is noteworthy, as mentioned before, that one goal of de-escalation zone agreement is to reopen the Aleppo-Hama highway for Syria thus each side wants a share from this issue and tries to achieve it sooner; Turks by putting their forces along the way and Syrians by advancing toward Saraqib and highway…
