ISWNews Analysis Group: The level of damage to the USS Bonhomme Richard is very high and it may never be saved and it may led to its decommissioning.

As can be seen in the picture, the armor deck which is a 50 mm sheet, is completely melted, and the place is above the boiler room.

According to the US Navy, 59 personnel, 36 US Navy sailors and 23 civilians have been treated for minor injuries, including heatstroke and smoke inhalation. Currently, no staff are hospitalized.

The fire suppression system was turned off.
Cables kept watertight doors open..
And two fires at once..can you say arson?

I. would not suspect arson on a ship that was in port for repairs, in my experience arson usually occurs when the ship is underway going or in somewhere the people aboard do not want to go
