ISWNews Analysis Group: The new leader of the ISWAP, Mallam Bakho Gorgoree was killed by Nigerian Army in a military operation this month, according to a Nigerian Army statement.
According to Nigerian military statement, Mallam Bakho Gorgoree was assassinated in a military operation in October. The assassination came two weeks after the Nigerian military announced that Abu Musab al-Barnawi, the former ISAWP commander had been killed in an operation on October 14th.
