Rockets pounded Turkish Army in Iraq!

ISWNews Analysis Group: Early on January 16, Turkish Bashiqah military base in north of Mosul was targeted with several rockets.

A Turkish military base in the Zelkan area, north of Mosul, was targeted by three rockets. Following the attack, Turkish artillery shelled the source of rocket attacks. In the second wave of the attack, in response to Turkish artillery fire, the military base was again targeted by three rockets.

So far, no information has been released about the damage and casualties of this attack.

It should be noted that prior to this attack, the same area was attacked with three rockets on January 15. Since the beginning of the new year, attacks on Turkish bases north of Mosul have increased significantly.
