Latest Field Reports From Gaza; Israeli Army Advances In Center Of Gaza Strip (Map)
Ground clashes between Palestinian resistance fighters and the Israeli regime’s forces continue in various areas of the Gaza Strip, where are under intensified Israeli airstrikes.
In the northern axis of the Gaza Strip, the confrontations between Palestinians and Israelis have intensified in recent hours. Currently, clashes are taking place in the Beit Hanoun, Beit Lahia, Al-Nasr, and Sheikh Radwan axes; so, the Israeli regime’s army has not been able to make any significant advances in these fronts due to the resistance by fighters of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades.
The al-Qassam Brigades fighters targeted a group of the Israeli regime’s armed forces who had taken refuge in a building in the Beit Hanoun area with anti-armor rockets, followed by a fierce clash between the two sides. Also, two Israeli tanks in the south of Beit Lahia were targeted by Al-Qassam fighters.
The situation in the central axis of the Gaza Strip is different from other areas. The Israeli armed forces began an operation last night with heavy air support in order to put pressure on the resistance forces in the middle of the Gaza Strip, cut off communication lines, and complete the siege of its target areas.
According to the latest information released from Gaza, Israeli soldiers advanced to the Abu Houli area in the south of Deir al-Balah district, and clashes are now continuing in Hakar al-Jami’ and Al-Barka in the south as well as Abu Houli area. The Israeli regime’s army drones are also constantly monitoring and supporting their forces during their advance in this axis.
In the southern axis of the Gaza Strip, Al-Qassam fighters clashed with Israeli soldiers in the eastern axis of Khan Yunis city. In these clashes, a bulldozer, a tank, and a military excavator of the Israeli regime’s army were targeted by Al-Yassin anti-armor rockets. No significant ground advances have been reported in this axis.
It is necessary to mention that a few hours ago; the Israeli regime’s army declared Khan Yunis city a war zone in a statement and asked residents of five areas in this city to move towards the southern areas of the Gaza Strip.
On Sunday, the Israeli regime’s army confirmed the death of two more of its soldiers in Gaza clashes. With the killing of these two soldiers, the number of Israeli army casualties since the onset of the ground attack on Gaza has increased to 70, according to official reports.
