Yemeni Army, Iraqi Resistance Conduct 5th Joint Operation Against Israel
In a joint military operation, the Yemeni army and the ‘Islamic resistance In Iraq’ targeted the port of Haifa in the occupied territories with cruise missiles.
Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the spokesman of the Yemeni armed forces, released a statement on the 27th of June announcing the details of the two recent operations against Israel in the Red Sea and Mediterranean.
Brigadier General Yahya Saree said in this statement:
- A joint operation with the brothers of the Islamic resistance of Iraq was carried out with a number of cruise missiles against a vital target in Haifa, and by the grace of God, this operation successfully reached its goal.
- In another operation, the SEAJOY ship was targeted in the Red Sea. This operation was carried out with a USV, several missiles and suicide drones.
The missile operation against the Israeli port of Haifa is the fifth joint operation by the Yemeni army and the Iraqi resistance in support of the Palestinian people.
It should be noted that the Yemeni army and the Iraqi resistance had carried out another joint military operation against the Israeli regime on 26 June.
According to the Yemeni armed forces, in this operation, the Yemeni army, in cooperation with the Islamic resistance of Iraq and with the help of God Almighty, targeted the Israeli ship MSC Manzanillo in Haifa with several suicide drones.
The Yemeni army has promised that missile and drone attacks against the illegal ships that violate the ban on entering the ports of occupied Palestine will continue until the Israeli and American crimes against the Palestinian people stop.
Since last November, the Yemeni army attacked dozens of vessels affiliated with Israel or owned by the U.S. and the UK in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, the Arabian Sea, the Indian Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea in response to the Israeli war and siege on Gaza.
The U.S. and the UK have carried out hundreds of strikes against AnsarAllah-controlled areas in Yemen since January in an attempt to deter the group and degrade its offensive capabilities, but to no avail.
