POW exchange; Ceasefire violation by Saudis; UN replaces Maj. Gen. Patrick Cammaert

1. Saudi Coalition Spokesperson claims Saudi captive “Musa Awaji” was exchanged by seven Ansar Allah captives.
AnsarAllah rejecting the claim called the exchange voluntary and the reason was his health condition was severe and Saudi Coalition did not respond to it.
Martin Griffiths, UN emissary acknowledging the act, demands the captive exchange as part of Sweden agreement to be completed.

 

2. Al Hudaydah:
– Yemeni Armed Forces Spokesperson said Saudi Coalition violated al Hudaydah ceasefire 248 times during the last three days. Saudi Coalition fighters attacked 67 times other provinces of Yemen.
– Martin Griffiths visiting al Hudaydah to prepare the situation for implementation of UN Security Council resolution 2452 and ceasefire.

 

3. UN replaces Maj. Gen. Patrick Cammaert

UN Security Council assigned Lt. Gen. Michael Lollesgaard(Danish) instead of Maj. Gen. Patrick Cammaert(Dutch) and as head of monitoring committee on implementation of ceasefire in al Hudaydah.
