Breaking: LNA Lunches Final Operation to Seize Tripoli

ISWNews Analysis Group: General Khalifa Haftar, the Libyan National Army commander announced the start of an operation to advance toward the center of Tripoli.
“Today we announce the decisive battle and the advancement towards the heart of the capital to set it free …advance now our heroes,” Haftar said on December 12.
The positions of the Government of National Accord (GNA) forces are under LNA’s artillery fire in the southern axis of Tripoli.
With the launch of the operation, which we had anticipated in the past, Tripoli will be the scene of heavy fighting between the LNA and GNA forces in the coming days.
