Security and military agreement between Turkey and Libya
ISWNews Analysis Group: Turkish parliament passed the bill on security and military agreement between Erdogan administration and Libya’s GNA.
On 30 November 2019, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkish President and Fayez al-Sarraj, head of Presidential Council of Libya and GNA, signed two agreements on military collaboration and maritime borders between two countries in Mediterranean Sea.
The bill was passed on Sunday in Turkish parliament.
Due to the agreements, Turkey will support militants of GNA against LNA upon their request.
Other parts include security, military training, defense industry, fighting terrorism and illegal immigration.
