Latest Updates on Yemen, 13 January 2020

1. Saadah:
– Ansar Allah repelled Saudi-led forces attacks in Marba Shaja area. For several days, Saudi coalition forces tried to advance in the axis, which has been naturalized by Ansar Allah’s ground and artillery attacks.
– Ansar Allah repelled Saudi-led forces attacks in the Amud mountain area.
– One child killed and one wounded in al-Zubairat area of Kitaf district due to explosion of an unexploded Saudi coalition bomb.

2. Hajjah:
Ansar Allah targeted the Saudi coalition positions west of Hayran, east and west of Mount Nar.

3. Dhale’:
Ansar Allah repelled the Saudi coalition attacks in the west and north of al-Qa’taba.

4. Hudaydah:
– Saudi-led forces shelled the Tuhayta area with mortar shells.
– Saudi-led forces shelled the Hays area with mortar shells.
– Saudi-led forces shelled the Durayhimi area with 17 Katiyusha rockets.
– Tariq Saleh forces engagements with a local commander in Khukhah area.

5. Shabwah:
– During the prisoner swap between the Hadi forces and STC, the resigned government of Hadi released 29 members of Hizam al-Amni(security belt). The exchange was mediated by the Saudi.
