Yemen: Prominent Coalition Commander Killed by Ansar Allah

ISWNews Analysis Group: Maj. Gen. Amin al-Waili, commander of Mansour Hadi’s forces in the sixth military zone, was killed in Marib clashes.
Some Yemeni sources reported the location of his death on the eastern fronts of Al-Jawf province and others on the eastern front of Al-Kasarat in the western part of Ma’rib province.
He was one of the senior and experienced commanders of Mansour Hadi’s forces and his military record includes participation in Saddam’s imposed war against Iran and the Six Sa’adah Wars.
