Details of drone strike on Israeli MERCER STREET
ISWNews Analysis Group: The US Central Command (Centcom) on Friday, August 6, released the results of the investigation into the attack on the Israeli ship and claimed that Iran had targeted the ship with three drones.
According to Centcom, on July 29, two drone strikes against an Israeli ship were unsuccessful, but on July 30, another suicide drone struck the Israeli ship “MERCER STREET” and killed the two individuals. As a result of this drone attack, a hole of one meter and 80 centimeters was created in the captain’s cabin, which caused serious damage to the cabin.
The United States claimed that after finding the parts of one of the drones and examining it, it came to the conclusion that the suicide drones were made in Iran and were compatible with the previous models! The investigation took place at the US Fifth Fleet headquarters in Manama, the capital of Bahrain.
