Construction of a new military post in Idlib by Turkey
ISWNews Analysis Group: Turkish troops have set up a new military post on the outskirts of Benin village on Zawiyah mountain in the south of Idlib province.
On October 3, the Turkish army has set up a new military post in south of Idlib province. The military post is located on the outskirts of the village of Benin near the Syrian army contact line. This is second Turkish military post on the outskirts of Benin.
It is worth mentioning that in recent days, two equipped convoys of the Turkish army, including 20 vehicles carrying cement blocks and logistics equipment entered the Syrian province of Idlib through the Kafr Lusin crossing and were stationed in the southern areas of Idlib and the contact lines with the Syrian army.
Following the meeting between the Presidents of Russia and Turkey and the dispute over Idlib province in Syria, it seems that the Turkish army is seeking to increase the number of its military posts in Idlib province in order to support the militants and put pressure on the other side.
