PKK Field Commander Assassinated In Sulaymaniyah

Türkiye’s National Intelligence Organization (MIT) announced on March 6 that Hosni Komek, a field commander of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in the city of Sulaymaniyah in Iraq, has been assassinated.
It is said that Komek had a background in the PKK’s intelligence division and also supervised training sessions for some PKK forces in Sulaymaniyah.
More details have not been released in this regard. It is worth noting that two days ago, the Turkish intelligence agency also reported the assassination of Gulsun Silger, the head of the youth branch of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party in the Iraqi city of Sulaymaniyah.
