According to a report by the Cairo-based Middle East News Agency, citing an informed source, the security agreement between the US and Saudi Arabia has reached its final stages, and the two parties have reached an agreement on the Palestinian issue and the normalization of Saudi Arabia’s relations with the Israeli regime.

According to this report, the agreement has various dimensions, but its three main pillars include joint defense between Saudi Arabia and the US against foreign threats, facilitating Saudi Arabia’s access to advanced US weapons, and a civilian nuclear program under strict supervision.

Furthermore, Saudi Arabia has pledged to restrict Chinese investment in Saudi soil and military relations with the Asian country, and to completely modernize its new defense systems with US-made weapons. In exchange for US concessions, Saudi Arabia will establish relations with the Israeli regime on the condition of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s commitment to cooperating to pursue a two-state solution in partnership with the Palestinian Authority.

In this regard, US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, along with Director General for West Asia and North Africa on this Council Brett McGurk and the US President’s Special Envoy for Yemen Timothy Lenderking will soon travel to Saudi Arabia and discuss the normalization of ties between the Israeli regime and Saudi officials.
